In this mystical fairytale adventure, kids learn how to notice their emotions, like the Shadow Mist, and understand that feelings don’t last forever. By becoming conscious of them, we can release their grip over us, allowing them to shift and change. The story also teaches that we have the power to choose—whether to pass our feelings forward or to process and transform them ourselves. It’s a magical reminder that we can be mindful of our emotions and choose how we respond.

 

This bedtime story ends with a little exercise to practice Inner Work so kids can begin to notice what's inside; whether an emotion, feeling or body symptom.  And then we begin to allow it to be, before letting it go.
